BCP601 - Muskrat & Buffalo

A spur of the moment decision to take a trip to Banff today became a chilly adventure for yayajojo, Quadradec, my hubby and myself. The drifting snow on the highway just before we reached Lac des Arcs stayed with us until we reached the Park gates. In town it was sunny but chilly with quite a bit of wind blowing as well. The BC was quickly located and info sent to the CO. On our way back home later in the evening there was a very long line of stalled vehicles (we could see a long way down the highway to emergency lights...) so we took the secondary highway and actually travelled on the cement plant side of the mountains where we seemingly flew as we watched the stalled traffic on the main highway. I had never driven right next to the plant. Thanks for the adventures OFTH.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
