Found it BVPete found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

BCP728 Jumpingpound Mountain

Jack and I went for a very long hike to find this cap as well as several caches further along the ridge. It is a wonderfully beautiful ridge to walk, a primo ridge walk for sure although the many elevation reversals are to say the least, tiring. The survey control station was on the second high point north of the actual Jumpingpound Mtn summit with 360 degrees of spectacular views. I gathered the data and took many photos before continuing further along the ridge. We would be passing by this point again in a few hours, moving a little slower on our journey home.

Thanks for posting this survey control station ofth it is located in an awesome spot indeed.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
