Found it colincactus found Gilbert's Cache

Sunday, April 28, 2013Southern England, United Kingdom

We came to Selborne to get a few caches this afternoon. This was one that I especially wanted to get as it filled an empty slot in my "Jasmer" grid. This one is now over 10 years old so thanks for keeping it going all this time.

An easy find - Richiecactus found the cache but we guessed where it was from a long way off. Signed the log and took the TB.

There are some lovely old trees here. We spent some time wondering around the hanger looking for where the woodpecker was pecking away. We finally spotted him on the way back to the Zig-Zags. I took some pictures of the old ivy infested trees there.

Some giant alien mushrooms Or are they ivy-covered trees?

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
