Attended JBase attended MOGA 2013

Saturday, April 6, 2013Illinois

This was my first MOGA and I had no idea what was to come. mmswift and CalMadDVM invited us along so the planing began. We decided to pick up a few old caches in Michigan and that won't work because of the late winter, too mich ice! So we decided to leave Wisconsin and drive to MOGA via Georgia! We told ourselves, "it's on the way!" Well we kept adding caches and challenges and this trip was born.

Day 1 - Nine states and ten caches. Minnesota to the Guld Coast - Done!

Day 2/3 - One hell of a road trip from Georgia to Illinois - Done!

Day 4 - MOGA MOGA MOGA and ten icons in one day - Done!

Day 5 - Lets see, the car broke down, now we are stranded so we went to Indy with the rental car - Done!

Day 6 - Free day? Lets hit Decatur and find fun caches - Done!

Day 7 - Car will be done later, lets grab more caches in the area and road trip home - Done!

I had a great time with good friends, isn't that what caching is about? I will see you all in Athens Ohio for sure!

Thanks MOGA for the fun event and caches!

infoA Mega-Event cache is similar to an Event Cache but it is much larger. In order to qualify as a Mega Event, the event cache must be attended by 500+ people. Typically, Mega Events are usually annual events and can attract geocachers from all over the world.
