Found it Losmir found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Monday, 03 September 2012Alberta, Canada

BCP329 - FCP
Location: N 50°55.368 W 113°59.913
Elevation: 1011m

We continued along on our bike trip through FCP and from the last cache I noticed that there was another cap to be found... it looked like it was right in the middle of two close paths... decisions, decisions, which path to take? Why, the wrong one of course! We chose the path closest to the water and then had to scamper up a little slope to get to GZ. Once there, the brass hunt took a little while as the brass cap blends in to the drying grass rather well (and there weren't any tell-take divots). We eventually found the pristine cap and took some photos. Almost 40 years old and it looks like new! TFTBC!!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
