When this challenge was published I was on 28 - a long way short of 40. I've been looking out for caches with all-numeric GC codes since then and picking them up whenever I could.
I much prefer challenges that I'm not pre-qualified for (because those challenges aren't a challenge are they). For me this one turned out to be surprisingly difficult (and so because of that I'm awarding it a favourite point).
I'd prepared by making a list of all nearby all-numerics. I was amazed to see how few of them were easy drive-bys. Even the simplest-looking cache gave me problems: a church micro that I had to visit twice before I found it, a trad that I only found on my third go. My lowest point was when I DNF'ed a D1T1 - I'm sure it was there as somebody else had found it that morning.
But that's all in the past - I finally completed the challenge last month.

Both Bobcat and I fancied a bit of caching tonight so we chose this one. We saw a couple of hot air balloons on the drive down. It was a lovely sunny evening and nice walk to the GZ. A deer bounced off through the trees as we left. Couldn't be better.
The cache was a quick find. I spotted the hiding place but it was Bobcat who was first to the cache. I signed the log, took nothing but left a toy car.
