Found it BeccaDay found The Amazing Race Starting Line (Amazing Race #1)

Sunday, June 10, 2012Wisconsin

It was a privilege to be able to run this amazing Amazing Race with the Fatalistic Four (beezers, furry hermit and lobsters). We all had such a great time with the whole thing! Thanks to Dr. Doolittle and Goldie Diggers for putting this together.

Having to take a penalty on this one still stings a bit. But that's OK, it couldn't be helped. I would so much rather have been in the predicament we were in without the necessary equipment than be without our invaluable teammate beezers. We spent so much time on this one, nearly an hour, because we were just so unsure as to what to do. We figured out what we were supposed to do but we didn't have the necessary equipment. Then there was the fact that we started ridiculously early because it was supposed to be such a hot day. Dr. D had told us it was too early so did we dare call him for help? What to do?! We considered biking to a nearby store and buying the necessary equipment but it was too early in the morning to do that, nothing was open. In a frenzy I searched the app store on my phone to try and figure out if there was an app that could do what we needed to do but to no avail. We finally decided to ask for help and Dr. D came out in his PJ's looking bleary-eyed. We got the information and we were off, finally able to get going on this amazing race. This truly was a great cache, thanks for getting us started on such a high note!

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
