We had already been looking forward to this event, as we enjoy snowshoeing and had not visited Buckhorn in the winter before. When Birdin' got the all clear from the doctor to go out and enjoy the trails, it was with even greater anticipation that we arrived today. And what an absolutely beautiful winter day to enjoy some shoeing along the Barrens Trail! The sun was shining, the temps were just right for winter activity and the companionship along the trails was top notch. While large group caching isn't usually our "thing," this was a great way to visit with lots of folks while enjoying some exercise. Our only regret is that Poohs Pal wasn't available to join us here. He'd have loved it and there were other kids his age, who were all real troopers in the snow. Thanks Shari and Heather for all the work in setting up this event, including the treats at the end. We look forward to returning with Poohs Pal to help him look for the Ranger Rick "geecaches" sometime soon!
