BCP 745 HFHR Water Tower

We had planned to be camping nearby and come for the HFHR kick off event on the Friday but our plans changed and we weren't able to make it. We were disappointed but then as the weekend approached another plan formulated for a road caching trip on Sunday with the Black Sharks. Everything fell into place and we were on the road by 7:30AM that day. It was a great time with good friends finding caches and BCPs on an absolutely perfect Autumn day!

We spotted the BCP on the corner of two streets. We were sad to hear the water tower was being taken down. They are a real part of the history of the towns and cities they are in. We just heard today that Rocky Mountain House is also losing its water tower because of a helipad being built at the adjacent hospital. We took some pictures of the water tower in High River before we carried on to the next one. Thankyou Outforthehunt for the BCPs and the places they bring us.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
