Found it BVPete found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Sunday, 31 August 2014Alberta, Canada

BCP667 Riversong

I wasted no time when I saw that there was a new cap posted in Cochrane this evening. I drove up the hill and into Riversong, parking on River Heights Dr close to the intersection with Riviera Way. Then I walked on the paved trail partway down Riviera to approximately N51 10.160 W114 26.872 where I found a well defined trail heading up the valley side to the top. It was then a short stroll through the grass to the cap location. The cap is only about a foot from its MP and was exposed at ground level. It was somewhat corroded but all the numbers are visible.

Thanks for posting a Cochrane cap ofth, the views from the survey marker are very nice indeed and I enjoyed my short evening stroll.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
