Found it colincactus found School Days Puzzles #5: William V

Monday, December 22, 2014South East England, United Kingdom

I knew the subject for this puzzle immediately but really struggled to get numbers out. I started to think of all sorts of ways of doing it - each more outlandish than the last. Nothing worked.

About a year later I had another look. I knew that the CO would've chosen a sensible decode method so I went back through my calculations. Suddenly I saw the erroneous assumption I'd made. What did my old school teacher used to say? Just read the xxxxxxx question.

It was quite busy here today so we had to wait a while before we could search. An easy find though - another one for Bobcat.

This hadn't been found for over a year so its our second unintentional resurrection of the day.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
