Found it colincactus found Energy Balls

Wednesday, November 30, 2011South East England, United Kingdom

This was one of the first ones that I looked at when I started doing puzzle caches. I remember being very excited when I discovered what Energy Balls were, quickly made the next connection and then came to a halt. So many options and no obvious way of choosing between them. I got the clue from the Nachtfrolik but that didn't seem to help either. The last time I looked at it was 18 months ago (the day of the World Cup Final in fact).

Then a couple of weeks ago Richiecactus and IceColdUK said they were going to try it together. I normally prefer to work out puzzle solutions on my own, but since I hadn't made any progress for so long I thought I'd join them.

I wrote an introductory email to the team detailing the areas I thought we could ignore. Then just before I sent it, I thought I'd actually try the puzzle again. Within a minute there was the answer.

So I simply added:

Aha I have it!! - Wow its brilliant
and sent the email.

I went to pick it up tonight with The Bobcat. It was an easy find as the cache was just lying on the ground. I'm not too sure where it should be as the hint is very cryptic.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
