It looks like your log contains HTML or UBB formatting. We now use Markdown formatting because it works on both web and mobile. Would you like to convert your log?

Success! To keep these changes, hit “Submit Log Entry” at the bottom of the page.

Hmm. Some of your log formatting is not supported. You might want to remove it and use Markdown formatting.

The idea of this cache is great! I kind of decided that I will do this cache some day even if it was the only locationless cache I'll ever do. This is the first locationless cache I've logged.

I was surprised to notice that BAJA Clan's longitude runs through some places that are familiar to me. I decided to visit on a small island whose name seems to be Björkgrundet (Swedish for Birch Ground). There is a sauna owned by Särkisalo municipality. Särkisalo (Finby in Swedish) is in South-Western Finland. Map 1 Map 2 Map 3

The road administration is planning to replace the ferry by a bridge. They have taken some aerial photos of the same island: A1 A2 A3. Zoomable jpegs and some Quicktime panoramas are available in those pages, but I haven't tried them yet.

I took the photos with a camera phone on 27th of December 2004. Thanks!

Edit: Added one more map link and the name of the island.

infoLocationless Caches could be considered the opposite of a Traditional Cache. Instead of finding a hidden container, you are given a task to locate a specific object and log its coordinates. A scavenger hunt of sorts, it involves collecting waypoints of various objects around the world.

Locationless caches have evolved into Waymarking. Waymark categories are similar to how locationless caches were listed on, but you can now search for the locations in each category.
