Found it huffinpuffin2 found Meyers Falls

Saturday, September 15, 2012Wisconsin

Major caching road-trip on this day, at least as far as putting on the miles goes. Not a lot of caches, but they were all excellent adventure caches, and miles apart from each other. Up at 4am, on the road by 5, and all that remained on our route were Meyers and Bulls Falls. Why is the sun setting so darn early now? We almost pulled it off! At least we had clear skies, and an abundance of energy still flowing through our veins......so once we turned off the highway and hit the dirt, we kicked it into 4WD and motored our way quickly to the parking area.

Guess we smelled too many roses earlier in the day, and now we were glad to settle for a safe experience, some great views, plenty of pictures, and a Find! Easily made our way from the parking area to the Falls - the water has a lot of energy here - loved it! Made the find with luck on our side, and had a good visit before turning our sights on visiting the next Falls just a short distance downstream,,,,,,,too bad we didn't have a kayak! So it was back up to the Jeep, and back on down the dusty road, chasing shadows, as dusk enveloped the area.

Though done in haste, at least we were able to make the visit! We had many more planned for the next day, and all at a pleasant pace - that, we promised, and that, we did.......well, almost...........

Thanks for finding this sweet place by the water, sweetlife, and sharing it with us! It's a truly beautiful spot, and we enjoyed our visit!

Lots of light yet, no?

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
