Out doing some location scouting for photography and stopped here. Looking around, I thought: "this would be a good place for a geocache..."

Apparently I wasn't the only one that thought so. Enjoyed looking at the old stones and reviewing the history. The CLN railroad is one of my interests, so the relationship of the area to that was a nice addition.

Thanks for the cache and the history lesson. All is well here. Didn't have any trade items, so just signed the log.

Edit: While I was searching for the cache, my GPS did some decidedly weird things which I didn't give much thought to. I was reading the old logs though and in particular those of the cache that used to be here that someone linked and it's interesting to see how many others reported a similar effect. Hmmmmmm. Wonder what's up with that ;-)

Beautiful stones here
infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
