A trip to the Mark's Tey area before the Flashmob in Colchester was on the cards today.

I had enjoyed a lovely armchair drive yesterday to solve the co-ords, having spotted the puzzle on the map in the vague vicinity of where I would be. It's cheaper on petrol than driving the actual route! I was familiar with some of the roads, having grown up around Colchester, but some were new to my virtual trip.

I realised that the final stretch of the route may be more easily done on foot, so today I parked a little way away and set off via Shank's Pony.

Arriving at the bend mentioned in the penultimate instruction, I set a waypoint and proceeded the required distance along the track. Voila! Easy find in the first place I looked. Thanks for a different sort of puzzle, have a fave.

Could this be the place?
infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
