Having eyeballed the goat trail that leads toward the lake off the gravel road [extremely dicey] and as the cap was less than 400 m away, the obvious choice was to make the walk over to the cap .
There seemed to be no one else about the area as I made my way over, and soon arrived at the cap site after the short hike.
