Found it wavector found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Thursday, 26 August 2010Alberta, Canada

BCP 490 Aberdeen St.
How fitting, a cap that starts with Ab for our Alberta event. This cap was the location of the largest gathering of Brass Cap hunters ever. It was a great way to start our walk and I was surprised when we ended up here as it wasn't planned by me, I love the interactive nature of geocaching and I love surprises.
We had an intrersting discussion here and learned about the brass before heading off to see a cap that has had the surface layer of brass peled back, very cool but not on the list of Brass Caps in the gpx file.
I am waiting for some pictures to show up here, I know local geocacher Falco took some shots of our walk leaving the church and heading to the cap.
Thanks for the brass, thanks for the hunt, this was a good one ofth.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
