Found it Fyr~n~Wyr found Blue Hill Tidal Falls

Wednesday, 18 August 2010Maine

We arrived here around 3 this afternoon which was about mid-incoming tide. A couple of kayakers sat in the mouth of the rapids for a few minutes before making the push and paddling up under the bridge and out the other side. No seals today but plenty of sails as the club was making its way through. I found my boat too!

infoAn Earthcache is an educational form of a virtual cache. The reward for these caches is learning more about the planet on which we live - its landscapes, its geology or the minerals and fossils that are found there. Many Earthcaches are in National Parks. Some are multi-cache in form, and some have a physical log book located in or close to a Visitor Center. Earthcaches are developed in association with the Geological Society of America.
