Found it The Wildleys found Swineside (Cumbria)

Sunday, August 29, 2004North West England, United Kingdom

We took an unorthodox route to this one, first following the river, then scaling straight up the heather-covered hillside to the cache location. On the way, we discovered a disused mineshaft, which went down -- straight down -- for quite a way!

Simon found the cache after a bit of searching. We descended via the more traditional route, down the bracken-lined path. Our friends, Tom and Rosemary, joined us on this one; and Rosemary ate bilberries that we found along the route.

TNLN. Thanks for the interesting climb!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
