Found it behmSquad found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Saturday, 02 July 2016Alberta, Canada

BCP728 Jumpingpound Mountain

This cap was just the beginning of a long and arduous hike. I missed the recent event on Jumpingpound, so this area was still completely uncached when this cap and all the new caches were published on the end of Jumpingpound ridge and the Moose Mountain outliers. So I reached out to TakinItEasy to see if he would join me for this 22k hike. He quickly agreed and then two of his sons (including 2sloths) also joined in. I suspect this cap was a large part of the reason he so readily agreed. TFTC

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
