When we arrived at our chosen parking spot for this cap it began to rain very hard. Mrs BVPete wisely elected to remain in the truck while I rummaged around and found one extremely disreputable umbrella to use on the walk. So, Brutus and I set off (he doesn’t mind the rain) and I had my umbrella with its cover pulled back from half of the badly bent ribs. I managed to keep my head and camera dry, but that was about it, the half that stayed dry on the trip out got wet on the trip back. I found the cap with an Early Blue Violet growing right on top, obscuring the numbers! So, I carefully moved the violet to the side took my photo and then put the flower back (no, really, see the photo, it’s even got rain drops on it). Thanks for posting this cap ofth.

The cap shot.
infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
