BCP537 SAW2 - Echodale

After a solid day of running about the Medicine Hat area for the SAW2 event, finding some caches and DNF'ing others, we arrived at Echo Dale park for the rap up event but not before attending to some unfinished capping business.

Accompanied by Count Smiley, Sleepy Hollow and Mr. Canoehead, who gets all the credit for the find here, not to mention doing the excavation work and bringing this one to the light of day. A cap with a view and some good people to share the occasion with made for a terrific way to finish off the weekends capping activities. Back at the parking lot and what a surprise, another intrepid brass capper arriving on the scene, good to see van der Decken out on the trail again.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
