Found it BaSHful found Streaker Challenge #6: DiversiTy

Tuesday, September 3, 2013South East England, United Kingdom

Out and about with my good mate WhiteFriar on another excellent Summer's day. A mixed agenda; Church Micros, of course, Challenge caches, of course, but also some more extreme caches, which is a bit of a departure for us. However, I was keen to garner a few more terrain 5s and also some more difficulty / terrain combinations that I had very few of. (Once you have got the grid once you naturally find you work for the second completion and so on.) Just the 19 caches but no DNFs and the day after, as I am logging, though I can report that four extreme cache have taken their toll, it was still an excellent day!

When this came out I consigned it to the "will never happen" pile, as I do for all streak based challenges. Then August came along with the chance to garner 31 souvenirs.... However, it was only in late August that I remembered this challenge and thought to check whether I qualified or not, realising that, at this stage, it would be purely a matter of luck if I did. However luck was smiling on me and I actually have a streak from 1st to 18th August 2013. The cache itself was a simple cache n dash, which was nice as we still had a lot to do....

PS, See my web page for a list of qualifying caches.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
