Found it rifkindsss found PraGeo - Skryty kostel / Hidden Church

Sunday, July 24, 2011Hlavní město Praha, Czechia

The main reason for our vacations in Czech Republic was that Rifkinda's brother was getting married here on the 23th July. So we decided to extend our holidays and get to know a little bit more of this country. Of course, we had to find some caches, too. The first one was at the airport, near the Douglas DC-3 OK- XDM.

Walking in Prague is so pleasant that it was completely by chance that we found this church! Rifkinda recognized it by the photos on the cache page and after a quick search she found the cache. The GPS was all but lost, defeated by the narrow streets and tall buildings.
Since there were muggles nearby, first we walked all the way around the church, looking for the child that was turned out into stone! Soon we found it!
Believing or not in the legend, this stone figure makes us think. But if it wasn't for the cache, probably we wouldn't notice it.
It was only when nobody was in sight, that Rifkinda signed the logbook. There was a geocoin inside the cache, but we decided to leave it there for the next geocacher.

Then we turned back to the main street and headed to the river. Our next stop would be at the Tancici Dum / Dancing House.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
