Found it colincactus found Challenge cache - Do You Know Other Cachers

Sunday, February 26, 2012Southern England, United Kingdom

FTF at 2:25pm (we hope)

When this came out yesterday afternoon I checked through my finds in GSAK to see whether I qualified. I was one short but that could easily be remedied. However just at that moment my daughter was sick and we had to spend the rest of the day cleaning-up and washing the bed linen.

This morning she was much better and she even insisted on going to the gym for an hour before we set off. At least that gave me some time to plan out our journey, and we finally got going around midday.

We needed one trad from Number Six. Church Micro 2115 in Winkfield fitted the bill and was on our route to Marlow. Church Micro 2113 (a puzzle) was nearby so we decided to get that too even though it wasn't needed for this challenge.

With both of those out of the way we set off to get the Challenge. We arrived at the parking coordinates and it seemed to be a long way off from the Final coords (for some reason these don't match the cache coords). So we decided to park closer. After a short walk we quickly found the cache. It was hidden at the final coords in a place that matched the hint so I'm assuming it was right. We were really surprised to be first as we weren't hurrying to get here at all.

Here's my list of qualifying caches

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
