Milestone find #4800.

It's not a biggie, but I like my minor milestone finds to be caches that are a little more interesting in one way or another. I've been enjoying the historical White Plains background info this series has been dishing out. I also figured with four WWPs to look for, I'd come up with at least one of them for the find .

I almost struck out here. First, I rejected street parking - too much snow piled on the roadside to make that seem safe - so I opted to park in the lot across the street. Then, misinterpreting the hint, I approached from the wrong side and began my quest at the wrong elevation. Once I figured out a better approach there still were a lot of hiding spots, but suddenly I spotted something, and that something was the cache. Left mumu fish #2721 http://www.anadromous.net/geotokens/2701-2800.html .

Cheers,
Lynn

cache find #4800

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
