Didn't find it The Dawntreaders couldn't find Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Thursday, 28 October 2010Alberta, Canada

BCP008 Okotoks

I gave this one the real college try. I managed to find what I now believe to be the corner post and some wire of the old fence that use to stand in this area. I also managed to find a 3/4" square property marker about 4 meters to the east of where the brass cap should be.

The area was certainly worked over recently in that the grass is growing in a manner such that one can see the rows of grass as planted by the seed-drill. As it was getting dark at the time I bailed on this one with a promise to myself that I would come by on our return trip from Lethbridge in a few days time.

Stay posted, The Dawntreaders

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
