Ah! The famous Tilley cap... Fairly deep hole and the cap is quite beat up (as others have noted), so I didn't crawl in to try and get the numbers. As we were leaving, a SUV pulled up behind us... we knew it had to be another cacher looking for the cap. Had a nice chat with Takin it Easy and also had a chance to meet Mrs TiE and Jr TiE. It was funny to see Jr TiE standing in the Tilley cap hole. It's always cool to see other cachers on the hunt and I enjoyed our chance to get acquainted. I found out that the TiE crew was also heading to Medicine Hat for other caps... so I think we followed them on several finds later in the day. I hope to see them out on the hunt again.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
