Found it beck66 found SPACE2081 [1.5/3.5] Treasure Island in Outer Space

Sunday, July 9, 2017Pennsylvania

Put this one on my list for another space cache to obtain. Fear also crept in on this one as I read over the logs. I imagined that this one had been swept away since it hasn't been found in awhile. Determined to check it out and find this one if possible. I took one trail and was within 300' but wasn't sure if it was the right approach. Backtracked and came at it from the other side but the crossing wasn't going so well and I wasn't prepared to change footwear this morning. Went back to my first approach and found a route to the island. I found a container tucked away and half buried with sand. Was this the treasure? Carefully poked around and was able to get the log container out but left the container firmly lodged in place. Log was dry so I signed and replaced. Tied the tether to a nearby root just in case but I think this one will hang on for awhile. TFTH.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
