Found it The Wildleys found There And Back Again (Newport Transporter Bridge)

Saturday, April 16, 2005United Kingdom

Our second cache of the day with Simon's parents, celebrating his 30th birthday with a bit of Being Out in the Nice Weather.

The bridge operator was friendly and chatted with us as we crossed. We found the cache straight away. Its contents were fine, but the lid is cracked and holeful and needs replacing.

This is a very good muggle-free zone! Elizabeth suggests walking along the sports field and then taking the last path (by the big pylon) up the embankment, because we had to negotiate many Brambles of Evil and soon-to-be-Forests of Nettles.

On the way back, we stopped in at the visitor centre and met an enthusiastic, excitable guide who told us everything we ever wanted to know about the Transporter Bridge.

Thanks for a good end to our afternoon!

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
