View Geocache Log

Saturday, January 12, 2013Wisconsin

I may not have been the first to attend, but I'm likely to be the last to log attendance. Due to my rather lazy personality flaw, I'm only getting around to logging this event tonight (2/15/13). Thankfully Nancy and Renee put far more effort into the planning of this event than I did to my attendance. I had not prepared for the regifting aspect of this event, but thankfully a lovely cacher with extremely beautiful eyes already had a regift gift ready for me to add to the pile of regifted "gift." Thankfully, I was my name was pulled first to select and I was rewarded with a "lovely" ceramic angle. Being first to select, I was then rewarded with the final option to steal after all others had made their selections and steals. Since I had not personally contributed to the exchange, I had no actual interest in stealing something that someone else would actually want. As such, my sole reason for stealing was to run splinters under the fingernails of another cacher in a friendly fashion....of course. Tom K. just happened to be the victim of my little game and I ended up with his nice Liars Dice game and cache suitable wooden box. As I type this log, that game is still in the orignal wrapper and I don't really have any intention of playing the game. The expression on Tom's face as I stole the gift is more than I could have ever expected when I walked into the event. Now I just have to figure out when I should give the game back to Tom.

Thanks for another fun regifting experience!!
