Monday, December 31, 2012Alberta, Canada

Found BCP605 Timber Ridge at 9.20.AM. 2012.Dec.31. N50*14.331 W113*59.632 Elev:1570m. Sleepy-Hollow asked me if I would like to join them for this "special day" short hike for a cap hunt. Of corse I sad and meet him and rustywa just west from Nanton early in the morning just before ligh. So from here we drove up to the traihead and also picked up a cache on the way there and started our hike just as the sun was coming up. Shortly had to lighten up on some clothing because it was warmer then I thought it is going to be . Lucky it was just a short hike because this time I did not feel too good due to this flu kind of thing is going on, but made it !!! So once at the cap location, it was easy to find it because not much snow and the cap is on a concrete monument well above ground level . We all got the info and some pictures of the nice view and headed back to the car. It was a good day with a nice walk in the park, and thanx for an other cap in a great location, ofth!!! #1080. Joci!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on
