The provincial high school track championships brought us to Medicine Hat for the weekend. On our way home we happened to be not too far from a past DNF'd cap so we thought we pay it a visit 9 months after our last one in the faint hope that some survey work may have been done using the cap resulting in it being uncovered. When last we met the farmer was plowing the field and the cap appeared plowed under. This time the field had been seeded and the crops were sprouting. There were 3 remnants of an orange painted lath scattered in the field. The cap is definitely buried and has been planted over. We decided against doing any digging in the farmer's field and moved on. This one looks like it will remain a DNF for us. Always like the drive through here though. Great church nearby. Thanks OFTH.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
