BCP063 - Calgary (Calgary Tower)

I was downtown for a meeting so I figured I'd pick up a couple of caps while I was in the neighbourhood. I got one before the meeting because I had time, but I was glad I didn't go for this one until after the meeting. My meeting was on the 38th floor, and I had to fill out some papers right next to a big window overlooking the Tower. This gave me an idea! I took a couple photos from here to post in the log but after the meeting, I made my way up (since I was only a few floors down from there) to the roof, snuck through a couple doors I shouldn't have, and managed to get up top. Now normally this Phoenix doesn't like breaking the wings out in daylight, but I figured since I was on the roof and I had a very short flight over to the tower, I had a very slim chance of being seen by those folks in the top floors of other office buildings (and the tower) so I made an exception. I made the quick zip over, got the info, and zipped back so I could go down to ground level like a "normal" person. Since I heard nothing on the news of a weird giant bird downtown today, I figure I'm in the clear! Thanks for the unique Cap! It was fun to get!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
