Found it Black Shark found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Saturday, 25 April 2015Alberta, Canada

BCP263 Edmonton (Ravine Drive)

Mr Shark asked for a favour for a special occasion and it was granted. That gave us both a unique opportunity and a rare treat--and that's without counting the bonus of a cap or cache (or two) along the way. This cap was part of a special evening!

Parking is easy here along a quiet residential street followed by a short stroll over to the cap. A collection of spruce cones on the ground gave away the depression around the cap. Brushing them and some needles away revealed the cap. Once the logging requirements were met, we enjoyed another panoramic view of the river valley before moving on to one more cache.

Thanks for another cap with a beautiful view!
Thanks to "D" for the opportunity.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
