Found it Black Shark found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

BCP678 Ranch Estates

In search of select CPL100 caches and brass caps Manjalou and ourselves were on a Calgary Mystery Tour. First, we stopped at the nearby BCP666 so that Manjalou might find it.

We didn't notice them right away as we started up that hill, but once we did we realized the hill was covered with crocuses!! We also found two other flower varieties there and not one of them a dandelion.

This was our first mutual cap find for the day. Parking was found at the trailhead on Ranchview Mews. Again we were distracted by crocuses and other flowers. Once we turned our attention to the cap it was a quick find and seems almost as polished as BCP666. Then we were back to enjoying the happy bird song and flowers on our way down the hill. Thanks for a couple of nicely placed caps and the added surprise of spring blossoms (our first except for dandelions)! You just never know what you'll find on the caching trail!

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on
