Another FTF with a PAGS cache within a mile our our home! John got the notification and said let's go. The park hours stated open until 10 pm. The basketball court was turned into a parking lot tonight as there was some sort of gathering at the park pavilion. I don't think this really was a parking lot as the driveway in stated it was for service vehicles only but that didn't seem to stop the group meeting in the building. There was also a park maintenance truck there as well. With all the activity we decided to look for the cache without using our flashlights and fortunately John found it almost immediately. Considering what the container looks like I was impressed. He used his IPhone satellite view of the cache placement and it brought him right to the container. I spent many summer days at this park as a teenager caring for my 2 year old sister as I would bring her to the wading pool and play on the playground equipment. Many fond memories of those days in the park. Thanks for the cache so close to home.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
