Found it monkeymo found Moshi railway station (Locked)

Monday, February 7, 2011Tanzania

Found this on the "rest" day after 20 hours flying in from the US before climbing Kilimanjaro. It was a nice walk about the city, and this, and the adjacent actual station are interesting architectural pieces.

I went to the location with just the coords, and spent a lot of time searching for the cache that isn't there. In the time I was there 2 muggles came up and started conversations and I had to get rid of them by telling them I was a British Railway Inspector. This seemed to satisfy them, though I'll never understand why. It is Tanzania, isn't it?

There's a lot of traffic here and I didn't have a replacement container with me that could be hidden in the spots available. A magnetic nano would be perfect just under the corrugated steel, but that was the last thing I would have thought to bring on this trip. To keep this interesting cache going, anyone planning to come to climb the mountain, please bring a small magnetic container with a log. Anything less than 2.5 cm long will do.

Picture to follow when I can find a picture uplink.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
