Geotrip’17 is a geocaching road trip where four guys (Harjus, Rimaju, Weellu and Wesbridge) from Finland are trying to find a geocache in 15 different countries in just 24 hours. Countries are Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, France, Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland. More info at

The step from Italy to Slovenia was longest on our trip. It took almost five ours to drive from Italy to this cache. We tried to do all kind of things as it was quite boring to drive such a long step. Weellu recorded Facebook live video where we shared our thoughts to all the people who were following our trip. Weellu also noticed that our rental car Renault Traffic had a bluetooth so we played our "theme song" Stig's Mä ajan koko yön. At this cache we also had a short coffee break.

We changed the driver here as Rimaju had already driven 15 hours straight and was feeling a little bit tired. It was my time to be "Ari Vatanen".

Ten countries achieved. Next destination Croatia.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
