Found it Black Shark found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Sunday, July 10, 2016Alberta, Canada

BCP640 Cold Lake Museum

Many revving dirt bikes and an industrial weed whacker shattered the quiet here. The weed whacker operator paused to let us pass and greeted us pleasantly as we headed down the well trod geotrail. The guide post is easily visible over the tall grass and, with so many recent visits, the cap only needed a few blades of grass moved before the pictures could be taken. While walking back along the chain link fence, we thought we heard a shout over the din and looked back to see a GPS toting fellow on the other side. He asked about the cap and we pointed out the marker. All he had to do was get on the right side of the fence! Thanks for the cap with an interesting perspective of some the planes and squadron emblems.
