Found it colincactus found Coal Post #152

Saturday, 05 April 2014South East England, United Kingdom

We started doing these coal post caches a few months ago. I'd seen a coal post challenge where you need to get six consecutively numbered coal posts. We had three so far (149, 150 and 153) so one of our tasks for today was to complete the consecutive set.

A nice walk out to this one along the North Downs. The National Trust now have cows grazing here: as we passed by they were sheltering under the trees.

It took us a few minutes to find the cache as we overshot at first. Then we went back and (after reading the hint this time) it was an easy find. I beat my daughter to the cache on this occasion. However I wish I hadn't as the hole was full of water, some of which must've leaked into the cache. As the previous finder has noted the log is now very wet.

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
