Found it Lacknothing found Chiwaukee Prairie Earthcache

Monday, April 8, 2013Wisconsin

Out with Hearty Soles, Hack1of2 and redwingrr today enjoying a day of caching with the girl posse. This one has been on my radar for quite some time. I do love prairies and I would love to get back to see this prairie in a different season. Today it is windy and wet. The prairie is preparing for spring - should it ever come! I have to imagine that this will have a much different look in a month's time. We enjoyed our time here and learned much. Answers to the questions have been e-mailed to the CO. Thanks for the earthcache! This is a unique natural feature so doubly happy to log the smiley.

infoAn Earthcache is an educational form of a virtual cache. The reward for these caches is learning more about the planet on which we live - its landscapes, its geology or the minerals and fossils that are found there. Many Earthcaches are in National Parks. Some are multi-cache in form, and some have a physical log book located in or close to a Visitor Center. Earthcaches are developed in association with the Geological Society of America.
