Found it cache_cachet found Stop at Krohns lake

Sunday, September 23, 2012Wisconsin

I grew up in Algoma, but have lived in Madison for the last 14 years. I was back home visiting my parents for the weekend with my brother, and we decided to grab some caches on the way back to his house in Green Bay.

Ah, Krohns Lake. It has been too, too long. Oh, the stories I could tell.

We parked in the lot, and went down to the shore check things out.

I didn't pull the coords up on the drive over, because, hey, I know how to get to Krohns Lake! So, we ended up doing a little bit of backtracking to get to GZ. Bounced around a little bit, and started off on one side of the road. After a bit of fruitless searching, I headed over to the other side. Bingo! Came up with the find. Made the grab, signed the log.

Thanks for giving me an excuse to duck off good ol' County K!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
