BCP123 Table Mountain

The highlight of this year's year end camp at Camp Impeesa was hiking up Table Mountain (my second trip up the mountain). We started out with 7 cubs, 2 siblings and 9 adults on a windy morning which proved to be very gusty up top. In the end, I made it to the top with 2 determined cubs (one was littlest TiE... atta boy) and the other Evan (a first time mountain hiker... Wow!). Soon after we were joined by Mrs. TiE (her second visit as well) along with two other determined cubs (Michael and Ethan). The rest didn't make it all the way but put in a great effort and were provided with great views regardless of where they turned back. This was not the day to be venturing too close the edge for the perfect shot as I lost my footing a couple of times while trying to capture shots a ways back. The boys and I were on a mission to check out the cap and then plant a new 1st Priddis Cubs' Cache on the SE finger (soon to be published). All in all a great outing in an area that I liked so much I went up a second time and all thanks to the cap that originally brought me up there. Thanks OFTH!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
