BCP428 - Elbow Valley Wetlands

I managed to convince One Bad Ant that with the impending doom.... er, I mean, the upcoming change in logging rules, that we should do a blitz of Brass Caps, since she really hasn't found that many, and I wish I had tried to find more when I had the chance. I also managed to convince her to work on multiple DAYS of capping!! This was the beginning of day two together out of... however many we can fit in before the deadline! We were a bit nervous about this one with all the ring road construction, but here appeared to be only Utility construction by ATCO. At least, that's what the sign said. The cap, strangely enough, is in a completely different kind of "construction". I guess some locals decided that this spot made for a great mountain/BMX biking course! Thankfully their activities didn't cover the cap at all and it was VERY easy to find! A little marked up, but not bad! TFTCap!!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
