Found it CBMocha found An ASCM Virtual Cache

Thursday, November 16, 2017Alberta, Canada

I saw this one pop up a few days ago and since today was not a work day :) I had some time to take the pup for a walk along the river. She knows this walk quite well! After collecting the required info, I was at ground zero and working the fresh snow with my boot until the cap and a strange word revealed itself. Beautiful views from here!

Ahh virtuals, I've missed them. I looked at my history and it's been about three years since I've logged a little ghostie. They have taken me to Paris, Alcatraz, Niagara falls and now my own back yard. As always, thanks for the adventure BVPete.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
