Found it nicolo found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Sunday, 14 August 2005Alberta, Canada

BCP040 ( Edmonton )
N53° 32.873 W113° 26.488

First of 12 caches that I found ( ibycus found a bit more ) while on Edmonton Raid #2 with ibycus and QuantumLeaper.

This was a hilarious cache today. We needed Old Yeller on this and I swept it over a spot that ibycus had looked at just a tad earlier and that QuantumLeaper had helped dig at a bit ... got it!

So we did took a few quick pics and started to drive away. As we were doing so a man and dog were walking by the cap and the dog must have smelled that QuantumLeaper had just been there so he ... ummm ... marked his territory. Cap finders may want to wait for a cleansing rain before going for this one!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
