Found it colincactus found The Lynch. Quiz Cache

Saturday, May 31, 2014Southern England, United Kingdom

I've been gradually filling up my Jasmer grid over the past couple of years (for two Half Jasmer challenges on the south coast). You'd have thought there would've been loads left from 2004 but there really aren't.

I had two alternatives that I could do for September 2009. One was near Sandhurst in Berks (not too far from home) but that one was archived last May. My backup was near Marlow in Bucks. I'd actually driven past that one last Autumn but gave up when I couldn't find a suitable parking spot.

No worries I thought I'll pick it up in the Spring. But when I checked in April I found that the owner had given up caching a few days before and had archived all his caches. No................

I looked around in panic for caches for that month and found this one about 30 miles away from home. Thanks for keeping it going so long - I'm really grateful.

I was out caching today with my mate Richiecactus who is also keen to fill up the gaps in his Jasmer.

The path is a bit muddy and fairly overgrown at the moment and we had a long search for the first part. I was convinced it had gone missing but then Rich suddenly shouted that he'd found it.

Between us we came up with answers for the questions. A couple we had to guess at but they plotted to a reasonable looking location.

A longish walk past some friendly cows, but when we arrived it was a quick find. I took the geocoin and left a diet joke book.

The cache had been fairly easy to spot so we added a bit of extra camo when we left.

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
