Tuesday, 04 April 2017Alberta, Canada

BCP773 Dickson Dam

Mrs BVPete, Jack and I took a little drive to Dickson Dam today to locate this cap. We have visited this area several times over the years and I am very happy ofth has published the cap before the end date for his cache. We took our time on the drive, stopping here and there to pick up a few other caches and generally enjoy the beautiful blue skies with the promise of spring in the air. Once at the Dam we first had a bit of lunch while sitting in the car, then walked over to the nearby cap to collect the required info.

Thank you very much ofth, for this cap and all the others over the last 15 years.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
